On March 19, 2025, Professor Lo invited Dr. Jack Chang from the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to deliver a special lecture titled "The Threat and Opportunity for Industry under the Global Trend of Net Zero Carbon Emissions." Dr. Chang, currently serving as a consultant at IEK, has long been a think tank member for the government's promotion of sustainable development and net-zero transition. He shared insights into the current global trends in net-zero carbon emissions and the main carbon tax frameworks, leading students in a discussion on the opportunities and threats these trends pose to Taiwan's industries. Following the lecture, students engaged in discussions and actively inquired about internship opportunities at ITRI. Dr. Chang welcomed and encouraged everyone to apply for internships at ITRI to gain practical skills in industrial analysis.
